Occupy 2.0 is an event that will begin at 12pm Eastern Standard Time on December 17, 2011. The Occupy Wall Street movement intends the event to be one of support for the movement, "the occupation of space and reclaiming of the commons." According to Occupy Wall Street, the event has been planned as part of its renewal of "a sense of hope" which "revived a belief in community and awakened a revolutionary spirit too long silenced."
Occupy protestors will gather on December 17th, the three month anniversary of Occupy Wall Street, in Duarte Square Park. The park is located at 6th Avenue and Canal in New York City, near Trinity Church.
